Referred Test Shipping Information

All referred (send out) tests are processed, packaged and shipped out via the Marshfield Labs hub.  Specimens must be received in the labooratory and be processed prior to the following cutoff times to ensure same-day shipping.  Samples received after the stated cutoff times may be held in the laboratory until the next available shipping time.

Mayo Tests:  

• Monday:  1500 (Courier departs at 1600)
• Tuesday-Friday: 0700 and 1500 (Couriers depart at 0800 and 1600)
• Saturday: No courier service
• Sunday:  1100 (Courier departs at 1200)

Sanford Tests:  

• Sunday - Friday:  1600 (Courier departs at 1700)
• No courier service on Saturdays

Other Specialty Labs Requiring Shipping Via FedEX:  

• Monday - Friday:  Noon
• No FedEx shipments Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays
• Samples received after noon may be held until the following day for shipping.  
• Please be conscientous of severe weather which may delay shipments or cause disruptions of FedEx services. All FedEx packages are shipped through the Memphis, TN FedEx hub.
