Collection/Processing Instructions
Fluid transferred immediately into lavender top tube. Mix by inverting tube 3-4 times. Specimen must be delivered to the laboratory promptly after collection. Indicate collection time.

Test Components
Total Nucleated Cell Count (WBC), Red Blood Cell Count, Percent neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils and any abnormal nucleated cells present including blasts and nucleated red blood cells.
