Test Code BLOD1798 Wheat Allergen Profile with Reflex to Components

Important Note

This test is replacement for previous Sanford test BLOD0761 (Wheat Allergen) which was made obsolete on 5/19/2026. 

This test can be ordered as MISC currently (until IT build of this test is complete).  Any orders for BLOD0761 will be cancelled and replaced with BLOD1798.

Test is not affected by hemolysis or lipemia.

Additional Information

If Wheat Allergen is positive the test will reflex to the Wheat allergen component panel. 

If Gliadin Allergen is positive the test will reflex to the Gliadin allergen component panel. 

Additional charges will apply when allergen component reflex testing is performed.
