Collection/Processing Instructions
Provider must be at patient bedside. Phlebotomy will collect 120 mL of whole blood using six 20 mL syringes (non-heparinized) via venipuncture or off of line. Upon collection of each syringe, syringe is to be given to provider immediately. After collection is complete, Phlebotomist is to collect and arrive specimens in lab application prior to leaving patient bed side.
