Aids in the diagnosis of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), specifically Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Differentiates IBD from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) in conjunction with other clinical and laboratory findings.

Collection/Processing Instructions

Random stool collection. 

 

Ship frozen. May refrigerate (2-8oC) up to 3 days before freezing.


Two freeze/thaw cycles are acceptable.
