Collection/Processing Instructions
Serum to be obtained from blood collected in tubes without gel barriers must be centrifuged and removed from cells within one hour of collection for storage and transport.
Serum to be obtained from blood collected in gel barrier tubes must be centrifuged within one hour of collection. Removed from the gel barrier prior to transporting aliquot to Marshfield Center.
Do not send the primary collection tube.
