Estimated glomerular filtration rate in mL/min/1.73m is based on age, gender, and creatinine in adult patients 18 years and older. Formula does not include a race coefficient.
Formula used is the Chronic Kidney Disease Epidemiology Collaboration (CKD-EPI 2021) equation for Adults, recommended by the National Kidney Foundation and the American Society of Nephrology Task Force on Reassessing the Inclusion of Race in Diagnosing Kidney Disease.
