Horizon genetic carrier screening helps couples determine the risk of passing on serious genetic conditions to their child. The 14-condition panel screens for 12 autosomal recessive conditions and 2 X-linked conditions.

Collection/Processing Instructions
Collect one 6 mLLavender-top EDTA tube from kit. Do not expose blood to temperatures outside ofthe range of 43-98° F. Do not seal tubes with paraffin film. DO NOT REFRIGERATE OR FREEZE sample at anytime. Store and transport specimen tubesat ambient temperature (43-98 F or 6-37 C). Do not collect in expired tubes.Do not place specimen label over lot number or expiration date of tube.
