Test Code HPV-ONL Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

Important Note

For outreach ordering only. Not available for internal ordering.

Useful For

This test is useful for the detection of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) from the cervical sample associated with a Pap test.

Please note that this testing can only be performed on a specimen that has been deemed to have adequate cellularity through the cytological screening by Pap test. If Pap testing has been performed on the submitted sample at another lab, please submit a copy of the lab report along with the sample.
If Pap testing has not been performed on the sample, please order HPVSO for the send out test that does not require a Pap. If no Pap test result is available, Marshfield Labs will automatically change order to the send out test.
