Collection/Processing Instructions

All culture slants, and/or tubes submitted must be placed in a proper mailing container (including courier shipments) and labeled as an etiologic agent. 

 

Primary isolation slants are acceptable if the submitting laboratory does not have the facilities for handling pathogenic fungi.
