Collection/Processing Instructions
- Collect serum in either RTT or SST, spin down and send serum in plastic transfer tube.
- Specimen should be drawn 2-3 weeks post-vaccination.
- All samples must have an accompanying Rabies Serology by RFFIT method submission form.

Interpretations
In humans, a result of 0.5 IU/mL or higher is considered an acceptable response to rabies vaccination according to the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines.
