Specimens should be delivered to the microbiology laboratory as soon as possible.
Swabs:
- Nasal specimen collectedwith a COPAN Dual Swab. Leave swabs attached to the red cap. Do not cut orbreak swabs off to place them in the tube.

The performance characteristics of this test have not been established in patients 21 years of age.
