Syphilis Antibody Confirmatory Test

Useful For
Order this test if the patient has a positive RPR. Samples will be tested for IgG & IgM antibodies to Treponemal pallidum. The CDC and WHO recommend both a positive antibody test against the causative agent Treponema pallidum a positive non-treponemal test such as the Rapid Plasma Reagin (RPR) before making a serological diagnosis of syphilis.
