Test Code TTGAB Tissue Transglutaminase AB, IgA and IgG

Useful For

Tissue Transglutaminase antibodies are useful in the diagnosis of gluten-sensitive enteropathy (Celiac disease). The tTG-IgG assay may aid in the diagnosis of gluten sensitive enteropathy in tTG-IgA negative patients with confirmed IgA deficiency. A negative Tissue Transglutaminase antibody test alone does not rule out gluten-sensitive enteropathy.
